About the role#
As a Student Ambassador, you will work on-site at the Maxwell Raleigh community. You will report to the General Manager and handle the daily leasing and marketing operations for the property. Your primary goal is to maintain positive resident relations while supporting the overall success of the community.
What you'll do#
- Manage apartment rentals, lease renewals, and move-in procedures.
- Greet prospective clients and conduct property tours to showcase features.
- Generate and qualify leads, handle inquiries, and maintain guest cards.
- Process lease documentation, secure deposits, and accept rental payments.
- Ensure apartments are ready for move-in and orient new residents.
- Support marketing efforts, participate in outreach, and attend weekly leasing meetings.
- Monitor market conditions and update internal reports.
- Coordinate resident functions and manage service requests.
- Enforce community policies and ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws.
- Maintain the appearance of the office and model apartments.
What you'll need#
- Previous experience in an administrative role.
- Strong customer service and communication skills to engage with people at all levels.
- A proactive approach with the ability to solve problems and use initiative.
- High level of organization to manage multiple tasks.
- Intermediate proficiency in MS Office and online database systems.
- Resilience, adaptability, and an awareness of cultural diversity.
- Availability to work 20-25 hours per week.
- Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or Communications.
