On-site Fall 2026 Internship - Customs Compliance

About the role#

The Customs Compliance Intern will support the Global Trade and Customs Compliance team with daily import compliance activities. This role provides hands-on experience in international trade, U.S. Customs regulations, and supply chain operations. You will work alongside experienced professionals to ensure products are imported efficiently and in accordance with regulatory requirements.

What you'll do#

• Review import documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Process and organize customs records and compliance documentation.
• Identify discrepancies in import entry information for team review.
• Maintain Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) classification records and related data.
• Prepare reports and analyze data using Microsoft Excel and internal systems.
• Assist with duty drawback documentation and administrative tasks to support internal audits.
• Collaborate with Logistics, Sourcing, Purchasing, Finance, and Compliance teams.
• Participate in special projects and continuous improvement initiatives related to global trade.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment as a college Junior or Senior, or status as a Spring 2026 graduate.
• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Willingness to learn SAP and other enterprise business systems.

Location & details#

• Location: Greensboro, North Carolina (On-site).
• Term: Fall 2026 (Early September through December 2026).
• Schedule: Part-time, 20-35 hours per week.
• This is a paid internship.
