About the role#
The Quality Engineering Intern joins our team to support first article reports and ensure products meet all customer specifications and drawings. This is a 16-month internship focused on maintaining high standards for our manufacturing processes. You will work on-site in Newmarket, Ontario, starting in May 2027.
What you'll do#
- Compile First Article Inspection reports for customers.
- Perform comprehensive verification to ensure products comply with all requirements and drawings.
- Resolve internal, supplier, and customer quality issues.
- Participate in product quality planning by identifying critical requirements and potential risk areas.
- Monitor and report on quality performance.
- Attend regular internal quality review meetings.
- Support ongoing product quality improvements.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in a 4-year University Internship program, having completed your 3rd year.
- Pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and customer specifications.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills.
- Ability to work well in a team and independently once trained.
- Canadian citizenship or permanent resident status.
- Must pass Visual Acuity and Colour Vision tests.
- Must pass a security assessment for the Controlled Goods Program.
