About the role#
We are looking for an AI Engineer intern to join our team for the summer of 2027. You will design and build agentic solutions and machine learning models to address complex technical challenges. This role involves working with cross-functional teams to take projects from initial concept through to final delivery. You will gain hands-on experience with emerging generative AI technologies while contributing to projects that impact our business.
What you'll do#
- Design, build, and evaluate intelligent agents and machine learning workflows.
- Apply data science techniques to analyze datasets, optimize model performance, and improve agent capabilities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather project requirements and integrate AI solutions into existing systems.
- Conduct experimental testing and benchmarking to ensure technical rigor and accuracy.
- Present technical findings, project progress, and working prototypes to internal stakeholders.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an Engineering, Computer Science, or Mathematics program.
- Strong proficiency in Python and core software development principles.
- Foundational knowledge in data science and machine learning, including data analysis and model evaluation.
- Familiarity with generative AI concepts, large language models, and autonomous agent architectures.
- Ability to take ownership of tasks, drive projects forward, and deliver reliable results.
- Excellent collaboration and teamwork capabilities.
