About the role#
Our Creaform Engineering department is looking for an intern to assist our Laval team with mechanical design for the winter 2025 session. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to prepare models and drawings while gaining experience in various fields like transportation, aeronautics, and automotive.
What you'll do#
- Respond to customer design and layout needs using 2D and 3D CAD software.
- Create designs for various parts and mechanical systems.
- Follow specific client criteria for every project.
- Account for manufacturing constraints when you model and develop parts.
- Participate in the design of new products.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a college or bachelor degree program in mechanical engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency with 2D, solid, and assembly modules in 3D design software.
- Excellent communication skills in French, both written and oral.
- A structured and organized approach to work.
- Ability to work well in a team and focus on customer needs.
- Creativity and an eye for detail.
- A strong capacity for adaptation.
