About the role#
We are looking for a Tax Intern to join our team for the Winter 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position based in Westlake Village, California. You will work with diverse clients across sectors like real estate, construction, healthcare, and manufacturing.
What you'll do#
- Assist in planning tax assignments across various industries.
- Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for partnerships, C corporations, S corporations, and individuals.
- Support IRS audits, tax notice responses, and the preparation of trust, gift, and estate returns.
- Manage client assignments from start to finish.
- Build relationships with client staff to support their goals and service needs.
- Maintain professional standards and client confidentiality.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program, preferably in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or Economics.
- Strong analytical, research, and project management skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook.
- Ability to work independently, solve problems, and multitask in a team environment.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills for internal and external interactions.
- A Master's degree in Accounting or Taxation and relevant work or student organization experience are preferred.
