About the role#
As a Transaction Tax Intern, you will support Senior Tax Consultants and Tax Managers with sales and use tax overpayment reviews, audit reviews, and refund filings. This is a full-time, paid internship based in Atlanta for the Winter 2027 term. You will work on-site and travel to client locations as necessary.
What you'll do#
- Assist with review preparation by performing tax research and data analysis.
- Locate, examine, and scan vendor invoices and other essential documents.
- Research specific tax questions and issues.
- Contact vendors to follow up on refunds and request information.
- Help compile client reports and refund claims.
- Enter data and maintain schedules for invoices and tax returns.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
- You are entering your Junior or Senior year.
- You have completed Intermediate Accounting.
- You possess intermediate skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- You hold a valid driver’s license.
- You can work independently and with teams at all levels.
