About the role#
Caterpillar Inc. is hiring interns for the Digital and Analytics program for Summer 2027. This is a full-time, 12-week assignment requiring 40 hours of work per week. You will join a team focused on using data, analytics, and digital channels to improve business outcomes and customer experiences. Throughout the program, you will have access to mentorship, networking opportunities with company leadership, and tours of manufacturing and research facilities.
What you'll do#
- Design and develop customer-centric digital experiences, including mobile apps, service applications, and eCommerce platforms.
- Simplify enterprise digital infrastructure to accelerate application development and ensure data security.
- Apply analytics techniques to large sets of data from IoT connected assets, including anomaly detection and business analytics.
- Drive the deployment and support of key digital products and data management processes.
What you'll need#
- Current full-time enrollment at a 4-year university in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or Cybersecurity.
- Completion of at least 12 credit hours before the program begins.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 with no rounding.
- Ability to relocate to the internship location and manage a daily commute.
