About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for the Summer of 2027 based in Atlanta, Georgia. You will work on-site with our engineering team on projects related to water and wastewater treatment, as well as construction services.
What you'll do#
- Perform engineering work across various project phases.
- Create engineering designs and develop plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Assist in the preparation of technical memoranda, reports, and electronic deliverables.
- Review submittals to ensure they conform to project plans and specifications.
- Handle data entry and analysis tasks.
- Participate in field activities, including site investigations and pilot testing.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
- Completed or finishing your junior year of college.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Experience with CAD software such as AutoCAD, Microstation, Revit, or Sketch Up is preferred.
- Coursework or experience in water and wastewater treatment and conveyance.
- Passed or scheduled to take the FE/EIT exam.
- Previous internship experience is a plus.
