About the role#
This internship is a 12-week paid, full-time program for the Summer 2027 term. You will work with the engineering team on projects related to civil and environmental infrastructure. You will own a specific project to present to senior leadership at the end of the summer, while also participating in skill-building workshops and networking events.
What you'll do#
- Apply problem-solving skills to identify and understand technical challenges.
- Conduct analysis, deliver insights, and present recommendations to your manager.
- Synthesize findings from your data to draw conclusions.
- Execute tasks tied to functional projects or process improvements.
- Communicate project status, issues, and potential roadblocks to your team.
What you'll need#
- A high school diploma or GED.
- Current enrollment in or recent completion of a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- A focus on Civil or Environmental Engineering is preferred.
Location & details#
- This role is based on-site in Michigan, supporting sites in and around the southwest region of the state.
- You should expect 50% day travel as part of your regular work duties.
- This position does not offer visa sponsorship.
