About the role#
We are looking for an Infrastructure Engineering Intern to join our team in Seattle. You will support projects focused on the conveyance of water and wastewater. This role involves active participation in the planning and design phases of infrastructure development to build resilient systems.
What you'll do#
- Perform engineering work for water and wastewater pump stations and conveyance infrastructure.
- Develop plans, specifications, and cost estimates for various projects.
- Conduct hydraulic system modeling and alternative analysis of design options.
- Prepare technical memoranda, reports, and electronic deliverables.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in or completion of your junior year of a civil or environmental engineering degree program.
- Ability to apply engineering principles using critical thinking and analysis.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- A self-starter attitude with the ability to work well in a team environment and communicate with mentors.
