About the role#
This is a paid, 16-week summer internship based in Saskatchewan. You will work with the Territory Manager to promote Victory and Invigor Health hybrids. A core part of the role involves ensuring the high quality production of specialty canola within an identity preservation system. You will engage with growers in the industry and travel frequently within your assigned region to meet with customers, prospects, and other Cargill personnel.
What you'll do#
- Promote specialty canola hybrids to growers.
- Manage production quality standards for identity-preserved crops.
- Travel throughout the region to conduct meetings and build professional relationships.
- Collaborate with a diverse team and interact with agricultural producers.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree or diploma in an Agriculture-related field.
- Expected graduation date between December 2027 and May 2029.
- Availability to complete the full 16-week program from May to August 2027.
- A valid Canadian driver's license in good standing.
- Ability to work outdoors in various environmental conditions, including sun, wind, rain, pollen, dust, and insects.
- Legal entitlement to work for Cargill in Canada.
- Demonstrated initiative and resourcefulness.
- Ability to work well with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Experience in agriculture, sales, research, or farm operations is preferred.
- Knowledge of crop production and canola agronomy is preferred.
