About the role#
The Operations Management Intern position is a training role designed to prepare you for the plant Operations Management Associate role. Over the course of a 12-week internship, you will gain exposure to plant operations, shadow various teams, and learn the workflows necessary to succeed in a leadership capacity. This is a paid, full-time opportunity.
What you'll do#
- Understand leadership in safety and regulatory compliance.
- Learn how to lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team of operations employees.
- Gain knowledge of Human Resources policies and strategies to support employee engagement.
- Understand production maintenance to ensure plants meet customer requirements.
- Align plant operations with business and profitability objectives.
- Collaborate with teams on capital project initiatives.
- Work with teams on production process improvements.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in any subject, with an expected graduation date between December 2027 and May 2029.
- Right to work in the U.S. without reliance on a student or third-party sponsored visa.
- Willingness to relocate for the internship and geographic flexibility to work anywhere in the U.S.
- Ability to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shifts and weekends if required.
- Comfort working in various environments, including offices, outdoors, and at heights.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Initiative and resourcefulness to complete work with limited guidance.
- Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
- Preferred: Pursuing a degree in agriculture, business, or a related field.

- This internship is on-site and offered for Summer 2027.
- Locations include Minneapolis, MN; Butler, WI; Dodge City, KS; Fort Morgan, CO; Fort Worth, TX; Friona, TX; Newnan, GA; and Schuyler, NE.
