About the role#
This is a 10 to 12 week paid summer internship based in Madison, Mississippi. You will work 40 hours per week in a warehouse environment. This program provides hands-on experience, professional development, and networking opportunities. You will work on business-critical projects and collaborate with warehouse leaders to improve operational performance.
What you'll do#
- Partner with site leaders to identify, analyze, and implement new or improved processes.
- Collaborate with functional teams in areas such as receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and delivery.
- Design and document workflows to support operational effectiveness.
- Analyze existing key performance indicators (KPI) and develop reporting capabilities.
- Participate in a Kaizen event and other continuous improvement initiatives.
- Work directly on the warehouse floor to observe and improve daily operations.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Management, Supply Chain, or Operations Management.
- Expected graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
- Knowledge of supply chain principles, Lean Six Sigma, or other improvement techniques.
- Comfort working in a warehouse environment.
- Unlimited work authorization in the United States. We do not provide sponsorship.
