About the role#
We are looking for a Student Warehouse Associate to join our Concord Distribution Centre. This is a 6-month, part-time contract position. You will work 24 hours per week on a schedule of Wednesday and Friday from 2:45pm to 11:00pm, and Sunday from 10:00am to 6:15pm. The hourly rate for this role is $17.60.
What you'll do#
- Process incoming and outgoing shipments and stock orders.
- Verify the accuracy and quality of products as you pick and receive them.
- Operate warehouse mobile equipment (we provide training).
- Sort packaged materials and handle items for recycling.
- Follow all health and safety policies.
- Keep the workspace clean and organized to help operations run smoothly.
- Participate in projects to improve our daily processes.
What you'll need#
- Ability to lift 10lbs to 30lbs regularly, and up to 50lbs occasionally.
- High school diploma is preferred.
- Experience with machine operations and RF scanners is a plus.
- Comfort working in an active environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a focus on accuracy.
- Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively.
