About the role#
We are looking for a Student Warehouse Associate to join our Operations team at the Concord Distribution Centre. This is a 6-month contract position offering 24 hours per week. You will work on-site to help us receive, stock, and fulfill medical product orders for our healthcare clients.
What you'll do#
- Process incoming and outgoing shipments and move stock to designated locations.
- Verify the accuracy and quality of products as you pick and receive them.
- Operate various types of warehouse mobile equipment. We provide the necessary training.
- Sort packaged materials and process items for recycling.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines to maintain a clean and orderly workspace.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects to help our operations run more efficiently.
What you'll need#
- You are comfortable lifting 10 to 30 lbs regularly, and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
- You have strong attention to detail and a focus on accuracy.
- You enjoy working in a team environment and have good communication skills.
- A High School diploma and previous experience with machine operations or RF scanners are preferred.
Location & details#
- Location: 300 Applewood Crescent, Concord, ON.
- Schedule: 24 hours per week. Shifts are Sundays from 10:00am to 6:15pm, and Wednesdays and Fridays from 2:45pm to 11:00pm.
- Compensation: $17.95 per hour.
