About the role#
Cardinal Health is hiring a Student Warehouse Associate to join the operations team at our Concord Distribution Centre. This is a 6-month contract position requiring 24 hours of work per week. You will help us manage medical product shipments and fulfill orders for healthcare facilities across the country.
What you'll do#
- Process incoming and outgoing shipments and stock orders.
- Verify the accuracy and quality of products as they are picked and received.
- Operate warehouse mobile equipment, with training provided.
- Sort materials and process items for recycling.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Follow all health and safety policies.
- Contribute to ongoing improvement projects.
What you'll need#
- Ability to lift 10lbs to 30lbs regularly, and up to 50lbs occasionally.
- Strong attention to detail and a focus on accuracy.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- High School diploma is preferred.
- Experience with machine operations and RF scanners is a plus.
Location & details#
- Location: 300 Applewood Crescent, Concord, ON.
- Schedule: 24 hours per week, including Sundays and specific shifts on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
- Compensation: $17.95 per hour.
- Work Modality: On-site.
