About the role#
As a Leasing Community Intern, you support the daily operations of our residential community. You act as an ambassador for our residents, helping to maintain high occupancy levels through effective leasing and customer service. This role requires you to live on-site in a designated community floor assignment.
What you'll do#
- Deliver high quality customer service to residents and prospective clients.
- Manage administrative front desk tasks and answer leasing calls.
- Greet visitors, determine their needs, and present apartment homes.
- Complete lease applications and maintain accurate file documentation.
- Participate in community event planning and execution.
- Assist the Community Manager with various projects as assigned.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the community tour path.
- Handle on-call responsibilities, such as lock-outs and nightly rounds.
What you'll need#
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current enrollment in an accredited college or university with at least 6 credit hours.
- Completion of at least one year of college coursework.
- Minimum 2.5 cumulative grade point average.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and navigate the property in all weather conditions.
- Availability to work approximately 20 hours per week, including evenings and weekends.
- Status as a current or future leaseholder of the community.
