About the role#
The Leasing Community Intern supports the property team in achieving occupancy goals through resident retention and leasing efforts. This role focuses on providing high quality customer service, managing administrative tasks, and assisting with community projects while gaining experience in the real estate industry.
What you'll do#
- Deliver customer service to residents and prospective clients.
- Complete lease applications and maintain lease file paperwork.
- Participate in Cardinal Way of Leasing training and certification.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the tour path to ensure a positive first impression.
- Assist with community events and various projects as assigned.
- Handle administrative front desk duties.
What you'll need#
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current enrollment in a degree program at an accredited college or university, with at least one year completed.
- Minimum 2.5 cumulative grade point average.
- Valid driver license.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
- Must live on the designated community floor.
- Majors in Business Administration, Real Estate, Marketing, or Communications are preferred.
Location & details#
- Location: Winston Salem, North Carolina.
- This is a paid, part-time, on-site position with a rolling term.
- Expect to work approximately 20 hours per week, including evenings and weekends.
