About the role#
As a Leasing Community Intern, you will support our team in maintaining high occupancy levels through resident retention and leasing efforts. This role focuses on delivering quality customer service and managing day-to-day administrative tasks at the community level. You will act as a primary point of contact for prospective and current residents while collaborating with your team to ensure the property runs smoothly.
What you'll do#
- Deliver customer service to residents and greet prospective clients.
- Complete lease applications and maintain accurate lease file documentation.
- Handle administrative front desk duties.
- Participate in community events and assist with various property projects.
- Answer incoming leasing calls and present the community to potential residents.
- Assist with on-call responsibilities, such as lock-outs and property rounds.
What you'll need#
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current enrollment in an accredited college or university with at least 6 credit hours.
- Minimum 2.5 cumulative grade point average.
- Valid driver license.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
- Availability to work evenings and weekends.
- Preferred majors include Real Estate, Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Sociology, or Psychology.

- Location: Lubbock, Texas.
- Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Approximately 20 hours per week.
- Status: Paid, part-time, temporary position.
