About the role#
As a Leasing Community Intern, you will support our community operations by delivering quality service to residents. You will work to maintain occupancy through resident retention and leasing efforts for current and future availability. This is a part-time, on-site role based in Columbia, South Carolina.
What you'll do#
- Act as a customer service ambassador to ensure resident satisfaction.
- Complete lease applications and manage file paperwork.
- Maintain accurate lease documentation according to company policy.
- Assist with planning community events.
- Participate in required training through Cardinal U.
- Handle front desk administrative tasks and maintain the cleanliness of the tour path.
- Assist with community projects and participate in on-call duties like lockouts.
- Work evenings and weekends as required.
What you'll need#
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Current enrollment in a degree program at an accredited college or university with at least 6 credit hours.
- Completion of at least one year of college studies.
- A minimum 2.5 cumulative grade point average.
- Status as a current or future leaseholder of the community, living on the assigned community floor.
- A valid driver’s license.
- The ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

- Location: Columbia, South Carolina.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Approximately 20 hours per week, including evenings and weekends.
- Status: Paid, non-exempt, temporary position.
- Review: Interns must re-apply for the position annually.
