About the role#
As a Leasing Community Intern, you will support our team in maintaining high occupancy levels through resident retention and leasing activities. This role requires a commitment to customer service and the ability to collaborate with your team. You will work on-site in Charlotte, North Carolina, and assist with daily operations to ensure our community runs effectively.
What you'll do#
- Provide customer service to residents and prospective clients.
- Complete lease applications and maintain accurate lease file documentation.
- Participate in Cardinal Way of Leasing training and certification.
- Assist with administrative tasks at the front desk.
- Help plan and execute community events.
- Support the team with various community projects as assigned.
- Perform on-call duties such as lock-outs and nightly rounds.
What you'll need#
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current enrollment in a degree program at an accredited college or university with at least 6 credit hours.
- Minimum 2.5 cumulative grade point average.
- Status as a current or future leaseholder of the community.
- Valid driver license.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Availability to work approximately 20 hours per week, including evenings and weekends.
