About the role#
As a Leasing Community Intern, you will support the daily operations of our residential community. This role focuses on resident retention and leasing vacant units. You will act as a primary point of contact for current and prospective residents while gaining hands-on experience in the real estate industry.
What you'll do#
- Serve as a customer service ambassador for the community.
- Complete lease applications and maintain accurate lease file documentation.
- Participate in the Cardinal Way of Leasing training program to learn sales and communication techniques.
- Greet prospective clients, conduct property tours, and assist with the closing process.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the tour path to ensure a positive first impression.
- Assist with community events and various administrative projects as assigned.
What you'll need#
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current enrollment in an accredited college or university degree program, such as Business Administration, Real Estate, Communications, or Psychology.
- Minimum 2.5 cumulative grade point average.
- Status as a current or future leaseholder within the community.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and navigate the property grounds.
Location & details#
- This position is based in Tempe, Arizona.
- The work is on-site and requires availability during evenings and weekends.
- This is a paid, full-time internship with a rolling term.
