About the role#
As a Human Resources Intern, you will lead a project focused on enhancing employee engagement, connection, and workplace culture. You will assess current engagement efforts, research best practices, and develop recommendations for sustainable initiatives that strengthen communication and recognition within the organization. This role offers the opportunity to design programs that foster collaboration and build a stronger sense of community.
What you'll do#
- Evaluate existing engagement practices and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Develop an engagement plan focused on communication, recognition, and connection.
- Design employee spotlight and recognition programs, including templates and communication schedules.
- Create internal communication materials such as newsletters or email campaigns.
- Assess the feasibility of new internal communication or social platforms.
- Provide recommendations for initiatives that can be maintained long-term.
What you'll need#
- Completed at least three years of college or university coursework in Human Resources, Business Administration, or Communications.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and details.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with a focus on PowerPoint.
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences and stakeholders.
- Capacity to work independently in a remote environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a proactive, solution-oriented approach.
- Comfort with technology and a willingness to learn new digital tools.
- Creative thinking skills with an interest in workplace culture.
- Experience with design tools such as Canva is considered a plus.

- This is a paid, full-time internship position.
