About the role#
The Student Team Lead for Dining Services assists with the daily operations of the dining team. You will help manage schedules, assign tasks, and oversee the work of other staff members. This role involves balancing technical food preparation duties with team leadership responsibilities.
What you'll do#
- Assist with schedules and assign daily work tasks to the team.
- Oversee the completion of assigned tasks.
- Train and guide staff on job duties and food safety procedures.
- Prepare and build food items following standardized recipes.
- Serve food to customers while maintaining guest satisfaction.
- Maintain and sanitize work stations, including prep tables and service counters.
- Replenish food items and ensure stock levels are appropriate.
What you'll need#
- 6 or more months of job-related experience.
- Previous food service experience.
- Valid food safety certification.
- Satisfactory completion of required training programs.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
- Strong communication skills to provide work status updates.
