About the role#
NJM Insurance Group is hiring a Business Insights Analyst Intern for the Product Management department for the summer of 2027. You will work with management to support data-driven decision making. Your work will involve monitoring key performance metrics to help the company understand profit, growth, and operational results. This is a paid, full-time, on-site internship.
What you'll do#
- Review and report on market share and competitor activities.
- Generate regular reports on key performance indicators.
- Develop competitive models and analysis using data tools.
- Compile, clean, organize, and analyze complex data to communicate business results.
- Review financial results with business leaders and provide insights on performance.
- Lead strategic projects and prepare presentations for leadership.
What you'll need#
- Current Sophomore or Junior status, pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or IT.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to communicate clearly in verbal and written formats.
- Interest in working collaboratively within a team.
- Familiarity with data tools like SQL, SAS, PowerBI, or Microsoft Office is a plus.
Location & details#
- This role is based in West Trenton, New Jersey.
- You must be able to commute to the office.
- The position is for the summer of 2027.
- Pay ranges from $21 to $25 per hour.
