About the role#
The Commercial Banking Intern role provides support to Relationship Managers in the Coral Gables office. You will gain insight into commercial lending and bank operations through a 10-week summer program. This position involves direct interaction with internal and external customers while building core banking skills.
What you'll do#
- Shadow and assist Relationship Managers with administrative tasks and project work.
- Help clear loan conditions and organize loan closing packages.
- Support reporting processes, including pipeline management and loan closing data entry.
- Identify complex problems and recommend solutions for products and services.
- Assist in identifying sales opportunities across business lines.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a post-secondary degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or Economics.
- Anticipated graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Outlook, Teams, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Strong interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Must be work authorized in the United States on a permanent basis without the need for employer sponsorship.
