About the role#
As a Product Cybersecurity Specialist Intern, you will help create and implement security solutions for CAE products. You will work on high-tech training systems, including full flight simulators, virtual training solutions, and medical equipment. This is a full-time, paid internship for Winter 2027, running from January 4 to April 23.
What you'll do#
- Analyze specifications to assess safety risks on training products.
- Implement security measures and data recovery plans.
- Install, configure, test, and upgrade security software in a product laboratory.
- Secure networks using firewalls, password protection, and other systems.
- Inspect hardware to identify vulnerable access points.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a university degree program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Familiarity with network products, such as Cisco.
- Foundational knowledge of cybersecurity.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Legal entitlement to work in Canada and ability to meet requirements for the Canadian Controlled Goods Program.
