About the role#
CACI is looking for Software Test Engineer Interns for the Summer 2027 term. You will work on the TestExec automated testing framework to automate data collection, analysis, and test procedures. This role is based in Colorado Springs and requires working on-site.
What you'll do#
- Design tests for ground and space communication systems.
- Work with test and measurement equipment including oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, and signal generators.
- Conduct manual and automated testing of applications that control integrated hardware.
- Support and improve existing software products.
- Use Python scripting to automate test procedures.
- Collaborate with other engineering teams to validate test results.
- Map requirements to test procedures for Factory Acceptance Tests.
- Analyze, design, and implement automated scripts within complex systems.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a STEM degree, such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
- 1+ semester of experience with Object Oriented development.
- 1+ years of experience with Python development.
- 0-1+ years of experience in a lab environment.
- Familiarity with the Linux operating system.
- Experience with version control tools like GitLab.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
