About the role#
This internship offers hands-on experience supporting the Transportation and Logistics team. You will gain exposure to supply chain operations, rail transportation, and data analysis. This role is based in Irving, Texas, and requires on-site attendance for the Summer 2027 term.
What you'll do#
- Assist the Transportation team with daily logistics and rail transportation tasks.
- Monitor railcar movements and track shipments.
- Create reports on transportation performance.
- Collect and organize data to help the team make operational decisions.
- Work with Transportation Coordinators and other departments to ensure products move on time.
- Identify ways to improve transportation processes and increase efficiency.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Junior or senior standing is preferred.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred.
- You can work on-site and collaborate well with others.
