About the role#
As a Logistics Intern or Hybrid Co-op, you will gain hands-on experience in transportation management, freight analytics, and logistics operations. You will work alongside experienced professionals on projects that support our logistics technology initiatives and system implementations. This role is a full-time, 40-hour per week position that offers the opportunity to apply your academic knowledge to real-world business tasks.
What you'll do#
- Support Transportation Management System (TMS) initiatives, including data validation, testing, and process documentation.
- Assist with data analysis and mapping between logistics systems, order management platforms, and carrier reporting tools.
- Collaborate with Logistics, IT, Procurement, Operations, and Finance to document requirements and support project execution.
- Document logistics workflows, maintain standard operating procedures, and identify process improvement opportunities.
- Support carrier onboarding, supplier integration, EDI activities, and logistics master data management.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit or recent completion of a degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- A basic understanding of supply chain, transportation, logistics, or operations concepts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the ability to work with data.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in a cross-functional, team-oriented environment.
Location & details#
- Location: Fond du Lac, Wisconsin.
- Modality: Hybrid and on-site.
- Compensation: $18.00 to $27.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
