About the role#
The Private Wealth Management Summer Internship is a 10-week program based in Houston. You will work within our integrated business model to support ultra-high net worth clients. This internship provides hands-on experience in investment advisory, capital allocation, and wealth planning. You will work alongside industry leaders and partners while participating in workshops, speaker series, and networking events. You will also have the opportunity to volunteer through our philanthropic program, BBHcares.
What you'll do#
- Support the day to day activities of a dedicated client base.
- Assist with new client onboarding, account opening, and account reviews.
- Prepare materials for client meetings.
- Help troubleshoot client account issues, including portfolio reporting and activity.
- Respond to client data requests.
- Gain exposure to core portfolio implementation and execution.
- Engage with multiple disciplines across our business model.
What you'll need#
- You are a current college junior, entering your senior year in the fall of 2027.
- A background in and passion for finance, business, or investing.
- A GPA of 3.5 or higher.
- Demonstrated leadership skills through academic or extracurricular activities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- An understanding of the asset management industry and security markets, including equities and fixed income.
- The ability to think creatively and strategically.
- Sound judgment and the ability to identify, escalate, and resolve problems.
- The ability to prioritize competing demands.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, including multi-sheet analysis and custom charts.
