About the role#
The Private Wealth Management Summer Internship is a full-time, 10-week program designed for students entering their senior year of college. You will work on-site in New York, gaining exposure to our integrated business model and working alongside industry leaders. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to real business objectives while participating in professional development workshops and the BBHcares philanthropic program.
What you'll do#
- Support the day-to-day activities of a dedicated client base to ensure their needs are met.
- Assist with new client onboarding, account opening processes, and account reviews.
- Prepare materials for client meetings and handle client data requests.
- Help troubleshoot account issues, including portfolio reporting and activity.
- Gain exposure to the implementation and execution of core portfolio activities.
- Participate in the BBHcares philanthropic program.
What you'll need#
- You are a current junior in college, entering your senior year in the fall of 2027.
- A background in and passion for finance, business, or investing.
- A GPA of 3.5 or higher.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, including multi-sheet analysis and custom charting.
- A strong understanding of the asset management industry and security markets, specifically equities and fixed income.
- Demonstrated leadership skills through academic or extracurricular activities.
- Ability to think creatively and strategically while prioritizing competing demands.
- Sound judgment and a proven ability to identify, escalate, and resolve problems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A demonstrated passion for teamwork.
