About the role#
This summer internship offers a look into financial planning and client service at an RIA. You will gain exposure to advisory work through mentorship and collaboration with teams across the firm. This position is based in our Portland office and runs from June 14 to August 5, 2027.
What you'll do#
- Observe client meetings and participate in team prep sessions.
- Apply your learning by completing a mock client presentation.
- Work on projects across departments including investments, impact, marketing, operations, tax planning, and MESI.
- Participate in career development programming and collaborate with other interns.
- Engage in team outings, committee events, and volunteer opportunities.
What you'll need#
- You are on track to graduate with a bachelor's degree between December 2027 and June 2028.
- You have a genuine curiosity about financial planning, wealth management, and helping others reach their goals.
- You demonstrate a growth mindset, coachability, and a commitment to learning.
- You possess strong communication, relationship-building, and collaboration skills.
- You are accountable, resourceful, and pay close attention to detail.
- You have a service-oriented mindset.
- You are authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

- Term: Summer 2027 (June 14 - August 5).
- Modality: On-site, up to 40 hours per week.
- Compensation: $18.00 per hour.
- Majors: Business Administration, Finance, or Economics.
