About the role#
As a Private Wealth Management Summer Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in financial planning and client service. You will work alongside experienced professionals to understand how we help clients make informed financial decisions. This role is designed to provide you with exposure to various parts of our business and help you build foundational skills for a career in wealth management.
What you'll do#
- Observe client meetings and participate in team preparation sessions.
- Complete a mock client presentation to practice your advisory skills.
- Work on projects across investments, impact, marketing, operations, and tax planning.
- Participate in career development programming and firmwide activities.
- Build relationships with teammates and collaborate with other interns on projects.
- Engage in volunteer opportunities and team outings.
What you'll need#
- You are on track to graduate with a bachelor's degree between December 2027 and June 2028.
- A genuine interest in financial planning and helping others reach their goals.
- A growth mindset, including a willingness to seek feedback and learn.
- Strong skills in communication, organization, and attention to detail.
- The ability to take ownership of your work and show initiative.
- Strong relationship-building and collaboration skills.
Location & details#
- Location: San Francisco, California.
- Term: Summer 2027 (June 14th to August 5th).
- Work Modality: On-site, up to 40 hours per week.
- Compensation: $21.00 per hour.
- Note: This is a full-time, paid internship. We do not provide visa sponsorship for this position.
