About the role#
Boulay is hiring a Tax Intern for the Spring 2028 term. This is a full-time, paid position based in our Eden Prairie, Minnesota office. You will work within our Tax Department to support individuals and businesses with tax preparation and planning. Throughout the internship, you will receive training, mentorship, and support through our Boulay Buddy program.
What you'll do#
- Prepare income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and multistate entities.
- Assist the team with quarterly tax planning.
- Conduct tax research projects.
- Respond to inquiries from Federal and State taxing authorities.
- Handle special projects as assigned by the team.
What you'll need#
- Progress toward a bachelor or master degree in accounting or 150 credit hours.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA with a strong academic record.
- Completion of intermediate accounting coursework.
- Completion of tax or audit coursework by the start of the internship.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.

- Compensation: $28.00 per hour.
