About the role#
Boulay is hiring for an Assurance Internship for Summer 2027. This paid position is based in our Eden Prairie, Minnesota office and runs from June through August. You will work 32 hours per week, Monday through Thursday. This role provides direct mentorship, in-house training, and exposure to a variety of industries and clients.
What you'll do#
- Perform compilations, reviews, and audits of financial statements.
- Participate in client engagements by auditing cash, accounts payable, debt maturity schedules, and other financial areas.
- Verify the accuracy and validity of client financial documents.
- Assist in drafting client communications.
- Participate in discussions with client finance personnel, including CEOs and CFOs.
- Assist with special projects such as due diligence or mergers and acquisitions.
- Potentially assist with individual tax preparation.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor or master degree program in accounting, finance, or business administration.
- Completion of intermediate accounting courses, with advanced accounting or audit coursework completed by the start of the internship.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Awareness of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
- Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
