About the role#
Join the Advanced Structures Engineering team for a four-month internship during the Winter 2027 term. You will work alongside technical experts and leaders to support aircraft structural design projects and organizational performance initiatives. This role offers exposure to aerospace operations, project management, and data analysis within a professional engineering environment.
What you'll do#
- Support the tracking and analysis of key performance indicators for the engineering organization.
- Collect, analyze, and present performance data to inform decision-making.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and presentations for stakeholders.
- Assist design engineers with aircraft structure development activities.
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts and operational excellence.
- Support talent development, coaching, and training initiatives.
- Participate in team meetings and track progress on action plans and projects.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering with at least two years of university studies completed.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Initiative, curiosity, and a willingness to learn.
- Assets include experience with CAD software like CATIA V5 or Siemens NX, data tools like Power BI or Power Automate, and knowledge of project management or continuous improvement methodologies.
