About the role#
This internship supports the manufacturing operations for the Global 5500, 6500, and 7500 interior cabins. You will work within a team focused on providing effective solutions to production challenges. This position is based in Dorval, Quebec, for the Winter 2027 term. It is a full-time, paid, hybrid role open to current students.
What you'll do#
- Support the manufacturing of highly customized interior aircraft cabins.
- Coordinate activities to resolve operational issues involving component shortages or engineering releases.
- Interpret engineering drawings and 3D mockups.
- Plan and execute changes to engineering datasets.
- Manage specific engineering deliverables and meet project milestones.
- Participate in daily team meetings and lead interdisciplinary discussions.
- Complete an improvement project where you act as the lead champion.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a mechanical or aerospace engineering program.
- Familiarity with mechanical design, stress analysis, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency with the CATIA 3D design tool.
- Ability to create and develop concepts using modeling software.
- Fluency in French, both spoken and written. English is an asset.
- A proactive approach to solving problems with minimal supervision.
- Ability to adapt to change and work well within a multidisciplinary team.
- A strong interest in business aviation and aircraft interiors.
