About the role#
This is a full-time Credit Analyst Internship for Summer 2027. You will work on-site in Wausau, Wisconsin. You will support our commercial banking team by analyzing credit information and helping with lending decisions for new and existing clients.
What you'll do#
- Analyze credit information to support lending decisions and processes for commercial banking loans.
- Perform financial analysis and calculations, providing recommendations to your manager.
- Prepare credit summaries to assess creditworthiness and support decision making.
- Monitor portfolio performance, analyze metrics, and identify industry trends to spot risks and opportunities.
- Structure new, renewal, and extension loans while ensuring alignment with client needs and bank policies.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration.
- Relevant experience in credit, lending instruments, or financial operations within a corporate or banking environment.
- Foundational proficiency in financial analysis and loan structuring.
- Foundational skills in Microsoft Office.
- Credit knowledge and skills that meet specific portfolio requirements.
