About the role#
This is a paid, full-time internship based in our Austin office. You will work as part of a team, receiving mentorship from BGE employees to support your professional growth. Beyond daily tasks, you will participate in intern-specific activities, events, and training sessions focused on career development.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with team members on civil engineering projects.
- Learn from experienced staff through direct mentorship.
- Attend training sessions and company events designed for interns.
- Engage in activities specifically organized for the intern cohort.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor degree program for Geographic Information Systems, Geoscience, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Proficiency with MS Office software.
- Ability to learn and use industry-specific software tools.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
Location & details#
- This role is located at 1701 Directors Blvd., Suite 1000, Austin, Texas.
- You must be able to work on-site 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
- This position is a rolling internship.
