About the role#
As an Advisory Intern for Privacy and Data Protection, you will work alongside experienced professionals to learn the basics of privacy risks. You will support client projects and internal initiatives, including data privacy, data governance, and AI governance assessments. This role involves operationalizing client processes, policies, and controls.
What you'll do#
- Assist with privacy maturity assessments and Privacy Impact Assessments for client systems and vendors.
- Support managed service client tasks and document client meetings for the team.
- Collect information for data inventories and privacy processing registers.
- Conduct research to support project requirements.
- Develop client reports, findings, and recommendations.
- Budget your time across multiple project requests while monitoring tasks and risks.
- Assist with the development of project deliverables.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in Engineering, Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or Business Management. Enrollment in an MBA or JD program is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical, research, and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a deadline-driven environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to interact with people at all organizational levels and build strong relationships.
- Leadership experience, as well as knowledge of Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft SharePoint, and Microsoft Visio, are preferred.

- The position is on-site and full-time for Summer 2027.
