About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience within the Turnaround and Restructuring Services practice. You will work alongside experienced professionals on client engagements, focusing on problem solving and financial analysis. The role is designed to provide training and exposure to the advisory side of the accounting industry.
What you'll do#
- Analyze financial statements and build financial models.
- Conduct research on distressed companies to support discussions with lenders and legal advisors.
- Create deliverables for client engagements, including reports, presentations, and financial analyses.
- Work directly with senior leadership on client projects.
- Participate in professional networking events at BDO.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
- Strong writing skills and the ability to interpret financial statements.
- Experience building or modifying financial models.
- Familiarity with data analysis software such as Tableau and Microsoft Power BI.
