About the role#
BDO Canada is hiring a Co-op or Intern for the Tax Transformation Office (Tax Forward) team. This is a 4 or 8-month work term beginning in January 2027. You will support Transformation Relationship Managers in their daily engagement with Tax teams and assist with various transformation initiatives.
What you'll do#
- Support Transformation Relationship Managers with daily engagement and communication.
- Gather, organize, and summarize business inputs, challenges, and opportunities.
- Document workflows, processes, and improvement opportunities.
- Translate business needs into problem statements and transformation ideas.
- Prepare presentations, summaries, trackers, and meeting documentation.
- Conduct research and analysis for transformation initiatives, pilots, and roadmap planning.
- Identify themes and insights from workshops and feedback sessions.
- Maintain transformation artifacts like intake logs and initiative inventories.
- Support innovation through research, testing, and feedback collection.
- Coordinate activities including scheduling and meeting follow-ups.
- Track progress, risks, dependencies, and next steps across multiple initiatives.
- Support change and adoption activities through communications and rollout materials.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree or diploma program in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or a related field.
- Strong interest in transformation, consulting, technology, or professional services.
- Analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with a detail-oriented approach.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid position with an expected compensation range of $48,000 to $60,000.
- The role is based on-site in Kitchener-Waterloo or Guelph, Ontario.
- This position does not offer sponsorship.
