About the role#
BDO Canada is hiring for a Co-op or Intern position within the Tax team in Calgary. This is a 4-month full-time position starting in January 2027. You will gain experience in Canadian tax services while working in an office environment.
What you'll do#
- Prepare tax returns for a variety of clients using technical knowledge from your studies.
- Contribute to tax compliance projects and other assignments.
- Build positive working relationships with clients and respond to their requests.
- Communicate progress updates and issues to team members on an ongoing basis.
- Participate in the adoption of digital tools and strategies to support office workflows.
What you'll need#
- Currently working towards a degree or diploma focused on accounting.
- A commitment to teamwork and providing outstanding client service.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to take initiative and seek understanding.

- Location: Calgary, Alberta.
- Term: Winter 2027 (starting January 2027).
- Modality: On-site.
