About the role#
BDO Canada is hiring a Co-op or Intern student for our Assurance team in Brandon. This is a full-time, paid position for the Winter 2027 term, running from January to April. You will gain experience in financial reporting, analysis, and compliance while working directly with our team and clients.
What you'll do#
- Prepare tax returns for various clients using your technical knowledge.
- Contribute to tax compliance projects and other assignments.
- Gather evidence for Assurance and Accounting engagements.
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with clients.
- Participate in business development initiatives.
- Communicate progress and issues to your team on an ongoing basis.
What you'll need#
- You are currently working toward a degree or diploma in accounting.
- Proven leadership skills and the ability to take initiative.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication skills.
- A commitment to teamwork and client service.

- Location: Brandon, Manitoba.
- Term: Winter 2027 (January to April).
- Modality: Hybrid. You will work from the office, client sites, and virtually.
