About the role#
The Marketing & Development student employee provides administrative and project support for the Mayborn Museum. You will gain experience in nonprofit marketing, donor relations, fundraising campaigns, and museum communications. This role involves collaborating with the marketing, development, membership, and events teams to support museum initiatives.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the museum content cycle by maintaining calendars for the website and print materials.
- Update website content and keep messaging consistent across channels.
- Refresh campaign signage, digital displays, and on-site promotional materials.
- Monitor marketing campaign performance and prepare weekly status reports.
- Conduct donor and prospect research to support fundraising strategies.
- Maintain donor tracking spreadsheets and assist with database management.
- Support outreach efforts to stakeholders, including board members and campaign ambassadors.
- Assist with donor stewardship activities and phone banking.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or Public Health.
- Experience with administrative support and campaign coordination.
- Skills in content management and donor stewardship.
- Ability to conduct research and track engagement metrics.
