About the role#
This role supports faculty, staff, and students with their research and teaching needs by providing requested library materials. You will work within the Library Collections, Systems, and Digital Services department to handle physical deliveries and office-based administrative tasks.
What you'll do#
- Deliver library materials to academic departments on and off campus using the library van and Gator ATV.
- Retrieve materials from library shelves and off-site locations.
- Scan books and journals to provide articles to patrons and other libraries.
- Pack and open incoming mail, including USPS, UPS, and courier packages.
- Check the library database for journals and manage digital article files.
- Assist with special projects as assigned.
What you'll need#
- A valid United States driver's license held for at least 3 years.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Enrollment in majors such as Business Administration, Communications, or Media Studies is preferred.

- Location: Moody Memorial Library, Waco, Texas.
- Term: Fall 2026.
- Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, between 8am and 5pm.
- Compensation: Paid position.
