About the role#
Ithaca College is hiring a student office assistant to support the Men's and Women's Swimming & Diving teams. This position offers an opportunity to gain professional experience while working directly with coaching staff and team operations.
What you'll do#
- Support coaches with daily administrative tasks.
- Manage the setup and breakdown of team practices.
- Handle the inventory and distribution of uniforms, practice gear, and athletic equipment.
- Record video footage of team practices and meets.
- Track and maintain team statistics during meets.
What you'll need#
- You must be a matriculated student at Ithaca College.
- Experience with general office tasks and software is required.
- Strong problem solving, communication, and customer service skills are necessary.
- You should be flexible and able to work collaboratively with others.
- Previous experience or knowledge of athletics is preferred.
- Preference is given to students with Federal Work Study eligibility.
Location & details#
- This role is based on-site in Ithaca, New York.
- The pay rate is $16.00 per hour.
- This is a part-time position with a rolling term.
