About the role#
This is a paid, on-site student position for Fall 2026. You will join the marketing team to support events hosted by the university. The role requires 10 hours of work per week, typically between 8 am and 5 pm, with occasional help needed for evening events.
What you'll do#
- Create print and digital design components for university events.
- Adapt approved designs for email invitations, programs, nametags, slides, and advertisements.
- Use project management tools to track project timelines.
- Maintain office organization by managing files, archives, and paper supplies.
- Run errands on campus and to the printer.
- Assist with office tasks like answering the phone and preparing nametags.
What you'll need#
- Proficiency in Adobe InDesign and Adobe Illustrator.
- Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office.
- Ability to follow established design guidelines and workflow processes.
- Enrollment in a major such as Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Media Studies, or Art.

- Location: Clifton Robinson Tower, Waco, Texas.
- Schedule: 10 hours per week.
- Compensation: $9.00 per hour.
